We can’t wait to get you all outdoors as soon as possible and are working hard to organize outdoor training rides for our WTIC members. We hope to have things finalized in the next week or two. Having said this, some of our riders will be outdoors this Sunday and invite you to join them. Please note, this is not a WTIC sanctioned event. The riders will be meeting at 8:00am Sunday morning at Lasalle Park in Burlington and will be heading out for a 40-50km ride. If you are interested in riding please reply to this email to let us know. If you are going to participate you must wear a helmet. Please bring enough water and snacks for yourself as well as a spare tube kit. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.
We are going to be creating a separate email list for those riders who would like to be informed of the upcoming WTIC outdoor rides. If you would like to be kept in the loop regarding our outdoor rides, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to have your name added to the email list. All outdoor ride information will also be posted on the WTIC upcoming events webpage (www.worldtourindoorcycling.com/category/upcomingevents/)
Some of our riders are joining the fight against kid’s cancers by participating in the Great Cycling Challenge. They have set their personal goals (#of km to ride during the month of June) and are working hard to hit these numbers and raise money along the way. Some of the riders will be using their time at the studio to peddle towards their goals. For those of you participating in this great event, let us know who you are and don’t forget to include your WTIC kilometers in your monthly total. Lets cheer these riders along as they fight for those children and families who are unfortunately in the midst of their own battles.
Please be reminded to book in for your classes as early as possible. With the warm weather upon us, it is understandable that so many of us want to ride outside. We need a minimum number of riders signed in for the indoor classes in order for the class to run. If we do not have enough registrants for a particular class, unfortunately the class will be cancelled. Book in early in order to help avoid this.
